Description

Syllable Chain Links is a hands-on syllable game and activity to teach students to listen carefully to sounds, segment parts in words, and count syllables to strengthen their phonological awareness.

Syllable games are a fun way for students to develop a strong phonological awareness by chunking syllables (parts in words). Students will practice syllable segmenting and counting syllables.

In this activity, students will use linking chains so students will build their phonological awareness and strengthen their fine motor muscles simultaneously! These are perfect for morning tubs, literacy tubs, small group, early finishers, table time, arrival activities, or center activities.
