Description

Rhyming Bingo Games is a hands-on rhyming game to teach students to identify rhyming words and to strengthen their phonological awareness skills. In this activity, students will use manipulatives to cover the rhyming word on their bingo cards to practice identifying rhyming words.

Rhyming games are a fun way for students to develop a strong phonological awareness by rhyming and identifying word families. The developmental sequence is that students will first repeat rhymes, then be able to identify if a word rhymes, and then be able to generate rhyming words on their own.

These are perfect for morning tubs, literacy tubs, small groups, early finishers, table time, arrival activities, or center activities.
