Fire Drill book and routine posters! Fire drills can be scary for younger students. It’s loud and there are kids everywhere! I hope this helps make fire drills less scary and manageable for your students.

At the beginning of the year, I will read this book a few times and then we will practice the fire drill before it happens. This book explains what to expect during a fire drill, what a fire drill will look like and sound like, and that it is NOT real (even if there are firefighters there).

Extra teacher pages: The pages that have a teacher on them have 4 options of teachers! You pick the one that looks similar to you to help your students relate to the book even more! And yes, I have male teacher options too!

Pages to Use: You pick what pages you want to use. Use all of them or just some of them. You know your school and your students best.

Fire Drill Routine Poster: There are FOUR fire drill routine posters to choose from. Two posters you can just print and post. The other posters you can make so students are able to take the parts of the routine on and off. ***I put a poster IN the book too! I make it the last page in the book.*** They are great to hang up in your classroom too!

Sending it Home with Students: Every year I have one or a few students who are super scared out by fire drills. I make them their OWN book to take home. They can read it at home with their family too.
