Pizza Math and Literacy Centers are loaded with fun, hands-on, pizza-themed activities to help your students build math and literacy concepts! Perfect for a pizza and food theme. It now includes two fine motor centers, one writing center, six literacy centers, and eight math centers.

The literacy skills covered are letter identification, beginning sounds, syllables, building vocabulary words, letter formation, matching uppercase and lowercase letters, sight words, writing recipes (directions), and writing/journaling. Math skills covered are one-to-one correspondence, counting, addition, number identification, graphs, tally marks, making ten, and shapes.

Each pizza activity has a page of teacher tips to help you create the activity easily and ensure it will go smoothly. You can use these pizza activities as arrival activities, center activities, small group instruction, and share during circle.
