Bathroom routine visuals and read-aloud help teach and cue students about how to go to the bathroom. At the beginning of the year, after breaks, and when a student is toilet training, I read the book with the whole class and/or individual students. Post the bathroom routine poster in the bathroom by the toilet for students to use as a reference.

There are two different bathroom routine posters to choose from. One is 6 steps and is more specific. The other is a 4-step basic routine. Use the one that works best for your students and your classroom. Send home the routine poster or read aloud with students who are toilet training or who just need visuals to be successful.
