Sweets Math and Literacy Centers are loaded with fun, hands-on sweets-themed activities to help your students build math and literacy concepts! Perfect for a bakery and 5 senses theme. It now includes two fine motor centers, one writing center, six literacy centers, and eight math centers.

The literacy skills covered are letter identification, beginning sounds, sight words, building vocabulary words, writing, journaling, reading comprehension, and letter formation. Math skills covered are one-to-one correspondence, counting, addition, number identification, patterns, 2D shapes, pattern blocks, spatial awareness, comparing capacity, more or less, graphing and data, and number formation.

Each sweets bakery activity has a page of teacher tips to help you create the activity easily and ensure it will go smoothly. You can use these activities as arrival activities, center activities, small group instruction, and share during circle.
