Gingerbread centers are loaded with fun, gingerbread activities to help your students build math and literacy concepts! Now includes two fine motor activities, one writing center, six literacy activities, eight math activities, a visit from the gingerbread man activity, and graham cracker gingerbread houses activity.

Literacy skills covered are letter identification, beginning sounds, rhymes, syllables, letter formation/handwriting, vocabulary words, and writing/journaling. Math skills covered are one-to-one correspondence, counting, number identification, addition, subtraction (-1), color matching, basic 2D shape identification, graphing, spatial awareness, positional words, and STEM. Each activity has a page of teacher tips to help you create the activity easily and ensure it will go smoothly. You can use these activities as arrival activities, center activities, small group instruction, and circle time. These activities are designed for preschool, pre-k, or kindergarten.

Make milk carton gingerbread houses! Have parents sign up to bring in items using the sign-up sheet and send home the reminder note to help parents remember to bring in the items. Gingerbread Man visits the classroom! Have the gingerbread man come alive using the included Gingerbread Letters. This is designed for preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten classrooms!
