The holiday season is the perfect time to explore holiday celebrations of other cultures! It is also the perfect time for the little learners in your class to share traditions from their cultures and build an inclusive environment! Use books and read alouds during circle time with characters that feature and highlight characters with diverse backgrounds and experiences. When we teach about a holiday, we teach about what the holiday means to different people and the different ways families celebrate it.
