Everyday we end our day with fine motor journals. Friday we cut paint strips (I made them in PowerPoint and printed on @astrobrights).
It’s a fun way to practice and strengthen those fine motor muscles.
Some other things we do in our fine motor journals are: (check my fm journal IG highlight to see them)
-make different types of lines
-write or trace letters
-use stickers
-draw self-portraits -draw shapes -cut tape
-use letter stamps
I did a bunch of stories and I saved it to a highlight titled -fm journals.
And yes we do more typical journals in January.

Every weekend this season has been crazy busy with fun things to do and football every Sunday. Both of my kiddos play on flag football teams so I’ve been able to watch them play for 5 hours every Sunday for the past month or so.
I’m just so thankful it’s not tackle football yet. There is no part of me that’s ready to watch my kids get tackled and knocked down for hours on end. Can they just stay this size forever?.

I’m over the moon that my writing table is always packed and sometimes there is even a waiting list! It makes my heart burst to know that they are falling in love with writing ❤️❤️❤️
Here are some things I go to keep the writing table exciting:
- change the writing tools (right now they are loving my teacher smelly markers)
- change out the themed paper and word cards with each theme
- have student name cards at the table
- have family and event cards at the table (mom, dad, happy birthday which is s freebie when you sign up for my newsletter-link in my bio)
- Celebrate their writing! ,

Exploring all about leaves and trees at the science table for our camping theme!
We went in a stick walk today because my kiddos are obsessed with sticks. We noticed how they were different using out five senses and compared the lengths.
Then we painted them in the art center. .

Sensory play is packed full with tons of learning experiences in the areas of math, language, fine motor, and social skills! And it’s a ton of FUN because learning and being little should BE FUN! .

Whoo Counting 1-10 Unit was released and was added to the Little Learners Math Curriculum Bundle! So if you own the bundle go download it again for your update.
It’s packed with tons and tons of hands on counting games and activities you can use anytime during the year because the games are not seasonal.
Next month the Counting to 20 unit will be released.
