Hop to making some Easter sensory bottles! Your kiddos will love exploring these bunny, carrot, and egg hunt sensory bottles in your classroom or home. Put the bottles in the safe place, on the light table, or in the science center for students to observe. Students can observe the bottles change as they shake, twist, turn, and roll the bottles. Easter Sensory Bottles
Bunny Sensory Bottle
- empty bottle
- fill halfway with water
- add 1/2 cup of clear glue
- add clear fine glitter
- add a tablespoon of white paint
- fill to the top with water, leaving about 1/2 inch space at the top so there is room to shake
- hot glue or superglue the lid closed
- cover the top with white tape
- cut ears from white and pink foam, then tape to the bottle with double-sided tape
- tape on googly eyes
- cut three pieces of plastic yarn, then tape them to the bottle
- tape a pink pom pom nose on top of the whiskers
- draw a mouth with a marker or puffy paint
Carrot Sensory Bottle
- empty bottle
- fill halfway with water
- add 1/2 cup of clear glue
- add orange fine glitter
- add a few drops of orange liquid watercolor or food coloring
- fill to the top with water, leaving about 1/2 inch space at the top so there is room to shake
- hot glue or superglue the lid closed
- cover the top with green tape
- cut a long green foam strip to fit around the top of the bottle, then cut fringe to make it look like the top of a carrot
- tape the green foam to the top of the bottle
Egg Hunt Sensory Bottle
- empty bottle
- fill halfway with green rice, sprinkle in foam eggs, plastic eggs, or mini eraser eggs randomly
- How to make Green Rice: Place white rice in a baggie with some green liquid watercolor and shake, shake, shake! Lay flat to dry on wax paper or a pan.
- hot glue or superglue the lid closed
- cover the top with green tape
