Learning about fire safety, firefighters, and fire trucks is something that always interests my little learners. I think it is important to teach my students what to do in case of a fire and to educate them so they aren’t scared of the firefighters. These fire safety books are some of our favorites!

Nonfiction Fire Safety Books
A Day in the Life of a Firefighter
See what it might be like to be a firefighter for a day. Your students will love exploring this job occupation while learning about fire safety vocabulary and seeing real-life photos.
Read about ambulances and what equipment might be inside. I like the real-life images so that students can really see what it may be like inside. This is a great book to read to accompany a community helpers theme too!
